BioJapan 2026 to feature IP support and medical translation services
Several organizations are set to exhibit at BioJapan 2026, a major biotechnology exhibition held at Pacifico Yokohama from October 7 to 9, 2026.
INPIT (Industrial Property Information and Training Center) will showcase various support programs designed to assist biotechnology startups and university-born ventures. Their offerings include intellectual property acceleration (IPAS), support for the social implementation of research results (iAca), IP landscape support, and subsidies for foreign patent applications. The goal is to help companies build strategic intellectual property frameworks and facilitate business growth and collaboration.
Kawamura International will also participate, presenting specialized translation services for the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. The company will highlight its hybrid post-editing service, which combines machine translation with AI and human expertise to reduce delivery times and costs. Additionally, they will demonstrate 'XMAT/LDX Studio,' a language processing platform that integrates translation, file conversion, and automated verification, specifically featuring a machine translation engine tailored for the life sciences field.
