Biologi per la Salute announces withdrawal from regional elections
The Biologi per la Salute list has announced it will not participate in the upcoming elections for the renewal of the Council of the Order of Biologists for Campania and Molise. The decision was attributed to family issues affecting members, specifically Dr. Ciro Cozzolino.
Despite the regional withdrawal, the group intends to participate in the national elections for the Federazione Nazionale degli Ordini dei Biologi (FNOB). Their national project aims to ensure representation across all Italian regions proportional to membership numbers to prevent regional centralization. The national platform focuses on transparency, equity, and sustainability.
For the Campania and Molise regional elections, Biologi per la Salute is proposing a split vote (voto disgiunto) due to the limited 15 available seats. They have recommended specific candidates from opposing lists, including Arnolfo Petruzziello and Silvia Angelillo from the “NOI BIOLOGI CAMPANIA E MOLISE” list, and Francesca Marino and Marina Piscopo from the “PAROLA AI BIOLOGI” list.
