Biological agriculture initiatives gain momentum in Brazil and Portugal

Agricultural sectors in Brazil and Portugal are focusing on biological solutions to address climate variability and sustainability.

In Campinas, Brazil, AptaHub is organizing an event titled ‘Bioinputs as a climate resilience strategy’. The meeting aims to bring together researchers, producers, and startups to discuss how biological inputs—such as biological control, soil nutrition, and environmental stress tolerance—can mitigate risks posed by climate change and phenomena like El Niño. The goal is to bridge the gap between scientific research and practical field applications.

In Coimbra, Portugal, the Portuguese Association for Organic Agriculture (AGROBIO) will host the National Meeting of Organic Agriculture and Production from September 23 to 25 at the Escola Superior Agrária de Coimbra. The event will gather specialists and producers to debate agricultural policies, innovation, biodiversity, and marketing within the organic sector.
