Biologists' training event arrives in Monteroni di Lecce

The “Biologi on the Road” itinerant training event will hold its fourth stop in Monteroni di Lecce on Friday, September 25. Organized by the Order of Biologists of Puglia and Basilicata in collaboration with the National Federation of the Orders of Biologists, the event will take place at the University of Salento’s Ecotekne Campus.

The program focuses on the evolving role of biologists, emerging trends, and professional perspectives. Vincenzo D’Anna, president of the National Federation, is scheduled to open the session. Discussions will cover professional growth, the impact of Law 3/2018 (Lorenzin) regarding the parity of biologists with other healthcare professionals, and new degree classifications.

Additionally, the event will present the final results of the “Game Open Ionico Adriatico” (GAME UPI 2.0) project. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between the professional Order and its members through participatory and multidisciplinary engagement.
