BIOPARC Foundation brings Wild Oceans FilmFest previews to Valencia and Fuengirola

The BIOPARC Foundation is expanding the reach of the Wild Oceans FilmFest (WOFF) by hosting preview film cycles in Valencia and Fuengirola. These sessions, scheduled for September and October, feature award-winning documentaries from previous festival editions to promote ocean conservation and marine biodiversity.

In Valencia, the cycle begins on September 13 with ‘Sea of Shadows’, a National Geographic production involving Leonardo DiCaprio that focuses on the endangered vaquita marina. In Fuengirola, the Casa de la Cultura will host free screenings, including ‘Soul of the Ocean’ on September 15 and a National Geographic production featuring David Attenborough on September 22.

These preview events serve as a lead-up to the fifth edition of the Wild Oceans FilmFest, which will be held at the BIOPARC Aquarium in Gijón from November 2 to 7. The festival utilizes audiovisual media to raise awareness about the fragility and importance of marine ecosystems.
