Bipasha Basu alleges worms found in nutrition product

Actor Bipasha Basu has raised allegations of food contamination after claiming to find tiny worms inside a newly opened container of a nutrition product. The actor shared a video of the contents on her Instagram story, stating, “This is full of worms… tiny tiny worms. The new dabba that we’ve opened is full of worms.”

Basu tagged Tukaram Mundhe, the Commissioner of the Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA), seeking his intervention to prevent the consumption of spoilt or adulterated goods. While the video shows the contents of the container, there has been no independent verification to confirm the presence of worms or the contamination of the product.

Mundhe has previously gained recognition for his strict approach to food safety enforcement in Maharashtra.
