BJP holds strategic meetings for state in-charges amid political developments
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is conducting major organizational shifts and strategic meetings. National President Nitin Nabin chaired a marathon meeting in New Delhi with newly appointed state in-charges and co-in-charges from all 28 states and eight Union Territories. The discussions focused on strengthening the party at the booth level, preparing for upcoming Assembly elections, and reviewing the performance of BJP-led state governments. Leaders were instructed to focus on grassroots work in their respective states rather than frequenting Delhi.
In Madhya Pradesh, newly appointed state in-charge Biplab Kumar Deb is beginning a two-day visit to Bhopal. His itinerary includes meeting senior leaders and interacting with booth-level workers, including a meal at a Dalit party worker’s home to emphasize grassroots connection.
Simultaneously, political tension is rising in Madhya Pradesh’s Balaghat district following the deaths of over 30 children in tribal-dominated areas. The Congress party has criticized the state government over healthcare deficiencies, malnutrition, and contaminated water. Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit the region on October 1 to meet affected families.
In Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced plans to approach the Anti-Corruption Branch regarding alleged corruption in Public Works Department (PWD) road construction. This follows a confrontation involving PWD Minister Parvesh Verma, which AAP leaders claim involved the destruction of evidence during a road inspection.
