Bir Bouragba new secondary school to open next week

Tunisian Education Minister Noureddine Nouri has inspected the new Bir Bouragba secondary school, which is scheduled to open its doors to students and staff early next week. Built at a cost exceeding 8 million dinars, the facility is located near a residential area and local middle school to help alleviate overcrowding and school transport issues in the region.

The institution is expected to welcome more than 650 students on September 15, with enrollment projected to double by the following academic year. The facility features modern standards, including specialized classrooms, cultural and sports spaces, and a revision room. It is also designed to support a single-session school schedule, a system intended to help combat social issues such as violence.

This new school is part of a broader national rollout of 23 new educational establishments across various governorates for the upcoming school year. Minister Nouri stated that these developments reflect state social policies and the administration's commitment to strengthening public education.
