BIRDCAGE shoot ‘em up to launch digitally on September 23

The shoot ‘em up game BIRDCAGE is scheduled for a worldwide digital launch on September 23, 2026. Developed by POLYGON BIRD in cooperation with eastasiasoft, the title will be available on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

BIRDCAGE is a vertical scrolling arcade-style shooter featuring 2D pixel art sprites and 2.5D environments. The gameplay includes six unique stages, multiple shot types, and a ‘Hyperblade mode’. The digital price is set at US$14.99/€14.99, with a limited-time 10% launch discount available in select regions.

Physical editions for the PlayStation 5 are expected to ship in March 2027 through the eastasiasoft store and affiliated distributors. Pre-orders for these physical copies are currently open.
