Law enforcement agencies seize narcotics and weapons in regional operations

Law enforcement agencies across several countries have conducted operations targeting organized crime and smuggling. In Paraguay, four individuals were charged following the seizure of 263 kilograms of premium marijuana transported from the United States via a Challenger 604 aircraft. The investigation implicated a flight dispatcher and a security official from the National Civil Aeronautics Directorate for their roles in facilitating the shipment.

In Spain, authorities dismantled a large-scale cocaine operation in Alhendín, where a specialized chemist was allegedly providing services to multiple criminal organizations to adulterate and distribute the drug. Additionally, a major operation in Palma targeted the Pablo Campos Maya clan, resulting in 21 arrests and the seizure of 48 properties linked to the laundering of 20 million euros from drug trafficking.

Other regional activities include the arrest of six individuals in Venezuela for stealing 300 kilograms of copper from Cantv telecommunications infrastructure, and the seizure of two AK-47 rifles and ammunition by the Public Force in Costa Rica during a highway intercept.
