Birigui: Young man reaches recovery milestone after motorcycle accident

Pedro Henrique Bernardo da Silva, a 19-year-old man, has reached a milestone in his recovery at Santa Casa de Birigui following a severe motorcycle accident on February 12. After 29 days of hospitalization, he was able to leave his room for the first time to receive sunlight and reunite with his niece.

The accident resulted in complex clinical conditions, including multiple fractures, significant wounds to the chest and head, and a severe cervical injury that caused spinal cord compression. His recovery process has involved intensive care and a multidisciplinary medical team to address the gravity of his injuries.
