Ulloa Pérez claims the properties were purchased in cash using savings and a family inheritance, specifically citing the sale of land received from his father in Chiapas. However, these assets and the alleged inheritance do not appear in his official patrimonial declarations. While his 2024 declaration mentions an inheritance of jewelry valued at one million pesos, it lacks details regarding the monetary or real estate assets he claims funded the recent purchases.

President Claudia Sheinbaum has stated that while she considers Ulloa Pérez an honest person, his assets must be reviewed to ensure his declared income aligns with his acquisitions. Authorities will examine his previous financial disclosures to determine if there is a discrepancy between his reported earnings and his current wealth.
