Birmingham area hosts various community and cultural events

Birmingham and the surrounding Alabama metropolitan area feature several upcoming community and cultural events. The Irondale Community Guide launch celebration is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the AGC Conference Center.

Local entertainment highlights include a soft opening for Chateau Bevvy Winery hosted by winemaker Fran Marks, a jazz happy hour at the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame with Jose Carr and his band, and various weekly music and comedy events at venues such as True Story Brewing, Saturn, and StarDome Comedy Club. Other scheduled activities include Food Truck Fridays at Linn Park and various karaoke and networking nights throughout the region.
