Birmingham City completes signings of Finn McGreevy and Luis Vazquez

Birmingham City announced the signing of 18‑year‑old winger Finn McGreevy on a two‑year contract after a successful trial. The Irish‑born player, who previously played for Hampton & Richmond Borough and represented London in Gaelic football, will join the club’s Under‑21 squad ahead of the 2026‑27 season.

The club also confirmed an agreement with Belgian side Anderlecht to bring Argentine forward Luis Vazquez to St Andrew's. Vazquez, who has made 116 appearances for Anderlecht and a recent loan spell at Getafe, is already in the UK and is expected to complete the transfer for a reported fee of around €3.5 million. The signing is intended to replace Kyogo Furuhashi, who recently moved to MLS, and bolster Birmingham’s attack for the upcoming Championship campaign.
