Birmingham City enters race for Nantes winger Herba Guirassy

Birmingham City is attempting to hijack a transfer deal for 19-year-old winger Herba Guirassy, currently playing for FC Nantes. The English club has entered the race to sign the talent, challenging Swiss side Young Boys, who had previously been close to securing the player.

Young Boys had reportedly formulated an offer of approximately three million euros to bring the French youth international to Bern. However, Birmingham City has submitted a bid to Nantes in an effort to intercept the move before the transfer window closes. Guirassy, a product of the Nantes youth academy, has already made three appearances in Ligue 2 this season.
