Birmingham City eyes promotion amid strong Championship start

Birmingham City has made a strong start to the Championship season, currently positioned in the play-off race following a 4-0 victory over Preston North End. The team has lost only once in their first 10 fixtures, driven by key performances from players such as Liam Millar, who has recorded two goals and three assists since joining on loan.

Despite the positive momentum, concerns have been raised regarding the club's squad depth. Reports suggest that injuries to key players like Max Bird, Taylor Gardner-Hickman, and Demarai Gray have previously exposed a lack of quality options on the bench. Maintaining a healthy roster will be critical for manager Chris Davies as the schedule intensifies and the club pursues promotion to the Premier League.
