In the women's sprint, England’s Amy Hunt delivered a standout performance despite the slick surface, maintaining a sharp start and composure throughout her race. Meanwhile, the heptathlon shot‑put was heavily affected by the wet conditions; distances were markedly lower, with Jade O’Dowda posting a strong 13.28 m throw that placed her ahead of Kate O’Connor, who managed only 12.80 m.
