Bisceglie and Giovinazzo launch summer reading programs as part of '10,000 Books in the Village
In Bisceglie, notary Piero Consiglio, lawyers Massimo Ingravalle and Giacinto La Notte took part in a sunset reading council on June 21, discussing their book *Palazzi Storici di Bisceglie, storie di uomini e pietre* published by Adda Editore. The talk was the opening of the summer series of the "Consigli di lettura al tramonto" and formed part of the "10,000 Books in the Village" project promoted by the Associazione Borgo Antico, with ten local libraries offering free book exchange.
In nearby Giovinazzo, the 2026 edition of "Conversazioni dal mare" concluded on the same evening, featuring journalist Giovanna Botteri and playwright Stefano Massini. The event combined a concert by the Puglian Philharmonic Orchestra under Maestro Giulio Marazia with literary readings, celebrating music‑driven storytelling. It was supported by the municipality of Giovinazzo, the Puglia region and a range of cultural sponsors.
