Bisceglie hosts second edition of Mamba 3x3 basketball tournament

The town of Bisceglie in southern Italy will stage the second edition of the “Mamba 3×3” basketball tournament from Friday 24 July to Sunday 26 July 2026 at the Parco della Misericordia. The event, part of the municipality’s “Estate in Blu 2026” programme, is organized by the local association Sospirium together with the Black Mamba Association from Gualdo Tadino.

The three‑day competition features U16, U18 and Senior categories, with 25‑28 teams and more than 90 players. Highlights include a group‑stage phase, a Three‑Point Contest, an All‑Star Game with 24 selected players, and knockout rounds culminating in finals and prize‑giving. Winners in each category qualify for the national LB3 finals scheduled for late August in Roseto degli Abruzzi. The tournament is free to the public, with a food‑truck on site.

The Mamba 3×3 tournament is held in memory of NBA legend Kobe Bryant, celebrating his “Mamba Mentality” of perseverance and constant improvement.
