Bisceglie to host literature and music events in Piazza Duomo
Bisceglie will host a dual cultural event in Piazza Duomo on August 16, featuring both literature and music as part of the “10 mila libri al borgo” and “Il borgo delle meraviglie” programs.
The evening begins at 19:45 with a literary discussion titled “Amor ch'a nullo amato amar perdona… Paolo e Francesca e il V canto dell'Inferno.” Led by Professor Giovanni Casanelli, the session will explore Dante’s Divine Comedy, specifically the famous canto regarding Paolo and Francesca.
Following the literary event, the “Musica sotto le stelle” program will commence at 21:30. The Freedom Chorus, accompanied by conductor Sokol Gjerji, will perform a repertoire consisting of both Italian and international music.
