Bishop Alfonso Raimo departs Termini Imerese for new mission

Monsignor Alfonso Raimo is leaving his position as the Bishop of Termini Imerese following a new assignment from the Pope. He has been called to serve the Church of Terni Narni Amelia.

In a farewell letter, Raimo expressed gratitude to the Christian community of Termini Imerese, noting that while his connection to the historic see was more emotional than administrative, the local faith and warm welcome left a lasting impression. He specifically mentioned his appreciation for the community's reception during his visits to the church housing the remains of Blessed Agostino.
