Bishop Manuel de Jesús Rodríguez concludes Mes Morado in Palm Beach

Bishop Manuel de Jesús Rodríguez of the Diocese of Palm Beach presided over the closing Mass for Mes Morado at St. Juliana Catholic Church in West Palm Beach, Florida. The annual October observance honors the Señor de los Milagros, also known as Cristo Moreno.

During the celebration held on November 1, the Dominican-born bishop expressed joy in accompanying the Peruvian community in their expressions of faith and devotion. He encouraged the faithful to let their devotion inspire them to live by the teachings of the Beatitudes, focusing on humility, mercy, and peace.

Bishop Rodríguez also noted the upcoming trip of Pope Leo XIV to Latin America, specifically mentioning visits to Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru, calling for prayer regarding this historic event for the Church in America.
