Bishop Mascagna condemns violent assault in Pescia

Monsignor Augusto Mascagna, the Bishop of Pescia and Pistoia, has issued a strong condemnation following a violent assault on a young woman in Pescia. The Bishop expressed deep sorrow over the incident, which was made public on September 27.

Mascagna stated that no pretext or logic of dominance can justify such violence, describing it as a grave offense to human dignity.
