Bisignano road accident kills 28-year-old man

A 28-year-old man, identified as Andrea Rago from Luzzi, has died following a violent road accident in Bisignano, in the Cosentino region. The collision occurred on a fast-moving road near the intersection with the provincial road for Luzzi.

The incident involved three vehicles: a scooter ridden by Rago, a Ford Fiesta, and a Fiat Panda. Emergency responders, including 118 medical staff, Carabinieri, and firefighters, attended the scene. Rago was urgently transported by helicopter to the hospital in Cosenza, but he succumbed to his injuries despite medical efforts.

The occupants of the two cars sustained injuries but were reported to be in non-life-threatening condition. Authorities are currently conducting investigations to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the crash and determine responsibility.
