Bistrița-Năsăud reports increase in street violence
Street violence and physical assaults have increased significantly in Bistrița-Năsăud during the first half of the year, according to a report from the county police inspectorate.
Mihai Lupșa, chief inspector at the Bistrița-Năsăud County Police Inspectorate, attributed the rise in criminality to low levels of education and impulsive behavior among citizens. He noted that despite various preventive activities, the level of social understanding remains low.
In a recent serious incident, five individuals attacked a utility vehicle driver. Police have identified the perpetrators, and all five suspects have been placed under 30-day preventive arrest.
