The Bistrița River promenade is being developed as part of the Sustainable Mobility Corridor related to the Bistrița River – Stage I. This project aims to transform the area into a multifunctional public space designed for community interaction, outdoor activities, and active mobility.

The infrastructure will integrate pedestrian paths and active mobility routes with public spaces intended for leisure, small community events, and social gatherings. The development focuses on creating an environment where people can linger rather than just pass through.

The project is co-financed by the European Union, with a co-financing value of 127,591,297.19 lei.
