Bistrița to host 4th wine festival and inaugurate UNESCO program

The 4th edition of the 'Povestea Vinului pe Pasajele Bistriței' festival is scheduled to take place from August 28 to 30 in the historic center of Bistrița, Romania. The event will feature a cultural and gastronomic route connecting several landmarks, including the Art Passage, Central Square, the Guilds' Passage, and the Cooper's Tower.

A major highlight of this year's edition is the official inauguration of the 'BistrițaUNESCO Creative City' program in the field of architecture. Additionally, the Cooper's Tower (Turnul Dogarilor) will be reopened to the public following the completion of its restoration and rehabilitation works. The reopening will be accompanied by a New Media Art exhibition.

Visitors can participate in wine tastings from local producers, themed tours, and various live music performances. The festival is organized by the Transylvania Mocănița Association in collaboration with the Bistrița Municipality, the Palace of Culture, and ADI Tourism Bistrița-Năsăud.
