bitbank to delist Enjin Coin (ENJ) due to price divergence
Japanese cryptocurrency exchange bitbank has announced it will delist Enjin Coin (ENJ) on October 16, 2026. The decision stems from a persistent price discrepancy between the ERC-20 version of ENJ on the Ethereum network and the version on the Enjin Relay Chain.
Because there is no official bridge to facilitate movement between these two chains, liquidity for the Ethereum-based ENJ has remained thin. Bitbank noted that it had previously warned users about a 20% price divergence in August of the previous year.
Prior to the full delisting, bitbank will reduce the margin trading collateral multiplier for ENJ from 50% to 0% on September 30. On the delisting date, new orders, deposits, and withdrawals will be suspended. Users holding ENJ will generally have their assets converted to Japanese Yen based on market prices, though bitbank cautioned that low liquidity could result in lower-than-expected conversion rates. If selling becomes impossible, assets may be held for five years before being returned upon request.
