Bitcoin analyst doubts $1 million target by 2030, sees $200‑250k range
Real Vision chief crypto analyst Jamie Coutts said Bitcoin is likely in the final phase of its current bear market, though the downturn is not yet technically over. He noted that the cryptocurrency is trading about 50 % below its all‑time high of $126,100 set in October 2025 and that volatility has fallen roughly 50 % compared with the previous cycle.
Coutts cautioned that despite emerging bullish divergences in long‑term momentum indicators, all trend signals remain bearish, and he does not believe the $1 million price target for 2030 is realistic. He projects Bitcoin could rise to $200,000‑$250,000 within the next two to three years and warned the community to address quantum‑computing security risks before 2027, noting that large protocol upgrades can take about five years to develop and deploy.
