Bitcoin and Ethereum Show Growing Bullish Sentiment in Futures and Options
Data from CoinGlass shows top crypto traders increased bullish exposure to Ethereum futures on July 25, with long positions in coin‑margined contracts rising to 64.02%, up 2.24 percentage points from the previous day. Bitcoin long exposure also edged higher, reaching 67.42% in the same segment. In USDT‑collateralized futures, Bitcoin long‑holding accounts climbed to 66.90%, a 3.94‑point jump, while Ethereum accounts rose to 67.42%.
Glassnode data indicates Bitcoin’s options market is signaling stronger bullish conviction as the put‑call open‑interest ratio fell to 0.52, down from 0.76 in late June. This ratio now shows roughly two call contracts for every put, implying reduced hedging pressure and increased buying pressure from market‑maker delta hedging, supporting Bitcoin’s price around $67,000.
