Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin market outlook and growth projections
Cryptocurrency market analysts are evaluating the growth potential of Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin through 2026. Bitcoin has seen a 7.2% decline in value since late 2025, while Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin have experienced more significant drops of 52.5% and 24% respectively.
Despite recent volatility, Bitcoin Cash may benefit from potential spot ETF approvals, following the CME Group's launch of Bitcoin Cash futures and Grayscale's application to convert its Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin trusts into ETFs. Bitcoin Cash currently holds a market capitalization of approximately $5.7 billion, while Litecoin stands at $4.5 billion.
Regarding Bitcoin's future, Citigroup has set a 12-month price target of $113,000, representing a 35% increase from its $84,000 level, though this remains below its historical record of $126,000. JPMorgan Chase predicts a more moderate annual growth rate of 10% over the next decade, suggesting that Bitcoin's rapid historical growth may slow to align more closely with traditional assets like stocks and gold.
