Bitcoin climbs above $65,000 amid US regulatory hopes

Bitcoin (BTC) recovered to $65,387 on the Binance exchange, up about 1.6% in a day, as optimism grew around the pending U.S. digital‑asset regulation known as the Clarity bill and a de‑escalation of Middle‑East military tensions. The rally was mirrored by gains in major altcoins, with Ethereum (ETH) rising 4.3% to $1,954 and XRP up 1.3% to $1.11.

Analysts note that the price level sits below the $69,000 threshold identified by Glassnode as a next resistance zone. The upcoming U.S. Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting is seen as a potential catalyst; a break above $69,000 could drive the market toward $84,000, while a bounce back may test the $63,000 support level. Short positions have been trimmed and Bitcoin‑related ETFs recorded net inflows of roughly $9.3 billion over a six‑day period, supporting the current rebound.

Market sentiment, measured by the Fear & Greed index, remained in fear territory at 26 points. The ongoing discussion in Congress about the Clarity legislation, which could shape future regulatory frameworks for digital assets, is viewed as a key factor influencing Bitcoin’s direction.
