Strategy and Strive execute divergent Bitcoin and stock maneuvers
Major corporate Bitcoin treasury holders Strategy and Strive have taken contrasting financial actions during the week ending October 25, 2026.
Strategy, led by Michael Saylor, paused its Bitcoin accumulation for the first time in several weeks. According to SEC filings, the company made no Bitcoin purchases or sales during this period. Instead, it directed approximately $204.9 million toward repurchasing 2,068,459 shares of its STRC preferred stock. Strategy maintains a massive treasury of 848,517 BTC, acquired at an average cost of roughly $75,446 per unit.
In contrast, Strive executed its largest single Bitcoin purchase to date, acquiring 6,182 BTC for approximately $511.4 million. This acquisition brings Strive’s total holdings to 43,000 BTC, a year-to-date increase of over 470%. This move positions Strive as the fourth-largest publicly traded corporate holder of Bitcoin, trailing only Strategy, Metaplanet, and Twenty One Capital. Strive also disclosed an at-the-market program for its SATS preferred stock, which could allow for up to $1 billion in additional capital raising.
