Cryptocurrency market shows shifting trends as altcoin ETF inflows rise

The cryptocurrency market is showing signs of shifting dynamics as investors move between Bitcoin and various altcoins. The Altcoin Season Index currently sits at 56 out of 100, placing the market in neutral territory and below the 75 threshold required to declare a full altcoin season.

Despite Bitcoin's dominance, there is significant capital movement into exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Bitcoin ETFs recorded weekly inflows of $2.3 billion, while high-cap altcoin ETFs are also seeing increased demand. Specifically, spot Solana (SOL) ETFs saw record daily inflows of $86 million, and spot XRP ETFs attracted $76 million in a single week.

Individual assets are also experiencing volatility and growth. Zcash has seen a 217% increase for the year, supported by the launch of a Grayscale spot Zcash ETF which has attracted over $500 million. Meanwhile, the broader market capitalization remains near $2.89 trillion, even as technical indicators like the OTHERS. D chart test critical resistance levels that could signal a broader capital rotation from Bitcoin into smaller cryptocurrencies.
