Bitcoin enters period of extreme volatility compression

Bitcoin is currently experiencing one of its tightest volatility phases in the last two years. Technical indicators, such as the Bollinger Bands, have compressed to approximately 3.8 percent, signaling a period of extreme market consolidation. Additionally, the Average Directional Index (ADX) sits at 11 points, indicating a lack of significant trend strength.

While this compression often precedes a major price movement, the direction remains uncertain. Analysts note that a breakout could occur in either direction, with the current price hovering around 63,800 USD. For a sustained bullish trend to emerge, Bitcoin would likely need to decisively break through the resistance zone between 70,000 and 74,000 USD. Conversely, Elliott Wave analysis suggests the possibility of further downward corrective movements within the current structure.
