Bitcoin ETFs see two‑year low volumes amid early Wall Street weakness

U.S.-listed Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange‑traded funds recorded their lowest weekly trading volumes since October 2024, with daily totals falling to roughly $1.5 billion. Despite the dip, the Bitcoin ETF posted a net inflow of $33.8 million for the week, while the Ethereum ETF added $103.9 million, offset by outflows of $240.1 million and $70.6 million respectively.

In parallel, the Bitcoin Implied Volatility Index (30‑day) lingered at 39.57, near the bottom of its three‑year range, whereas realized volatility for the same period sat around 69, indicating a wide gap between expected and actual price movement. Analysts note this divergence as a sign of market uncertainty.

Meanwhile, U.S. equity markets remain close to historic highs, but technical indicators on daily charts are beginning to show early signs of weakening. Investors are watching inflation data and forthcoming Federal Reserve policy decisions for clues on whether the current rally will sustain or give way to a correction.
