Bitcoin faces bullish price forecasts despite declining search interest

Cryptocurrency market sentiment shows a divergence between public interest and institutional activity. While Google search interest for crypto has reached its lowest levels since 2024, Bitcoin continues to see significant price action and ETF inflows, suggesting that current buyers may be utilizing established services rather than conducting new research.

Market analysts have issued several bullish price predictions for the final quarter of the year and beyond. Tom Lee of Fundstrat has targeted Bitcoin at $200,000 to $250,000 by the end of 2026, citing institutional inflows and broader adoption. Citi recently revised its 12-month Bitcoin price target upward to approximately $113,000.

Long-term forecasts remain even more aggressive. Veteran trader Peter Brandt has projected Bitcoin could reach between $300,000 and $600,000 by 2029, while BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes maintains a long-term view that could see the asset reach $1 million by 2030. Additionally, some traders are signaling potential parabolic moves for XRP, though specific price targets have not been publicly disclosed.
