Bitcoin falls below $77,000 following US inflation data

Bitcoin prices fell below $77,000 following the release of US producer price index (PPI) data. The PPI rose 0.4% month-over-month in August, meeting expectations, but the annual rate accelerated to 5.4%, exceeding the 5.3% estimate. Core PPI, excluding food and energy, rose 0.2%, which was lower than the expected 0.3%. Investors are now focusing on the upcoming Consumer Price Index (CPI) data ahead of the Federal Reserve's meeting on September 15-16.

In other market news, Nike shares have declined approximately 76% from their 2021 peak, trading below $38 and bringing the company's market value to roughly $57 billion. Additionally, Trezor users have been targeted by a phishing scam involving fraudulent emails sent from an official domain, falsely claiming hardware errors to prompt users to click malicious links.
