Bitcoin Holds July Range, Analysts Warn of August Decline

Bitcoin closed July trading within a narrow $62,000‑$65,000 band, ending the month up about 5% from its start. Institutional demand for exchange‑traded fund (ETF) products and steady inflows helped absorb selling pressure, while regulatory progress such as the CLARITY Act moving through Congress added further support. Crypto‑focused firms, including Crypto Finance of Deutsche Börse Group, noted the market’s selectivity and the role of ETF flows in the price stability.

Analysts at CryptoAdvisors caution that August historically proves the most bearish month for Bitcoin, with nine of the last thirteen Augusts ending in price declines. The cryptocurrency is currently trading near $63,000‑$64,000, roughly half its October 2023 peak. They warn that prolonged confinement within the $57,700‑$67,000 range could trigger a sharp correction, highlighting liquidation risk around $62,500‑$63,000 and a potential break below $60,800 that could expose deeper support levels near $52,750.
