Bitcoin-linked digital credit market could hit $3 trillion, says Strive CEO

Strive CEO Matt Cole projected that Bitcoin‑linked perpetual preferred stocks STRC and SATA could unlock a $3 trillion digital credit market, representing about 1 % of the global $300 trillion credit pool. He noted that such growth could support a long‑term Bitcoin price of $1 million and cited strong investor demand for income‑producing Bitcoin exposure.

Strategy (MSTR) and Strive use these securities to fund Bitcoin purchases; however, trading of STRC below its $100 par value may limit the effectiveness of this financing channel. Strategy President and CEO Phong Le disclosed a $1 million purchase of STRC and intends to hold the stock until it returns to par. Michael Saylor, Strategy’s executive chairman, echoed the view, tweeting that “Digital Credit is income for investors who believe in Bitcoin.”
