Bitcoin market shows potential bullish trend amid institutional hedging
The cryptocurrency market is showing signs of a potential bullish phase as Bitcoin moves away from weakness zones. Analysis from CryptoQuant suggests that extreme conditions associated with speculative bubbles or severe crashes have faded, indicating room for a stronger upward trend. While Bitcoin has undergone periods of correction and consolidation, a full-fledged rally has not yet begun.
Institutional dynamics are also shifting, with JPMorgan noting that investors are positioning defensively toward Bitcoin compared to gold. Heavy put-option activity around Bitcoin ETFs, such as BlackRock’s IBIT, suggests investors are hedging against downside risk. If a rally occurs, the unwinding of these hedges could potentially add significant buying pressure to the market.
In the early-stage project sector, the Apeing cryptocurrency presale has entered its fourth stage, titled ‘Banana Hoarders’. The project reports over 450 million tokens sold and has implemented a token burn of more than 200 million unsold tokens from previous stages to reduce supply. Bitcoin is currently trading at approximately $75,927 to $78,240.
