Bitcoin miners CleanSpark, BitFuFu, and Canaan report July production declines

Three major publicly traded Bitcoin mining companies—CleanSpark, BitFuFu, and Canaan—reported declines in their Bitcoin production for July, despite an increase in Bitcoin's market price during the same period.

CleanSpark produced 586 BTC in July, a decrease from the 614 BTC produced in June. As of July 31, the company held approximately 13,931 BTC. BitFuFu reported a drop in output to 112 BTC from 125 BTC the previous month, and its total holdings fell from 1,671 BTC to 1,314 BTC, indicating significant sales or disposals. Canaan also reported reduced production levels.

While Bitcoin's price rose from approximately $58,500 to nearly $63,000 in July, production levels were impacted by factors such as network mining difficulty adjustments, which shrink individual shares of the network as total hashrate climbs, as well as operational variables like fleet efficiency and maintenance.
