Bitcoin price forecasts show caution amid MicroStrategy scrutiny
Bitcoin price expectations are showing signs of caution among prediction market traders and financial analysts. Data from Polymarket indicates a low 2% probability of Bitcoin reaching $100,000 before November, while traders assigned a 57% chance of the asset touching the $80,000 support level in October.
In a separate analysis, TD Cowen analysts projected Bitcoin could reach $109,000 by the end of the year and $280,000 by 2029. However, the bank expressed skepticism regarding MicroStrategy's ability to fully capture the upcoming bull cycle. Analysts Lance Vitanza and Jonnathan Navarrete noted that MicroStrategy's bitcoin-per-share ratio has become less robust due to the company's financial engineering, specifically the issuance of convertible securities and preferred shares used to fund its treasury acquisitions.
