Bitcoin price forecasts vary between $30,000 floor and $175,000 target
Market analysts have provided divergent outlooks for Bitcoin's price trajectory, citing institutional adoption and on-chain data as key drivers. Brian Vietn of Siebert Financial suggests Bitcoin could reach $175,000 within 12 months. He attributes this potential growth to easing selling pressure from miners, increased transparency in exchanges, and the stabilizing influence of spot ETFs, which have created a more resilient investor base.
Conversely, CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju argues that even in a severe bear market where institutional investors and corporate treasuries exit their positions, Bitcoin could find a price floor near $30,000. This estimate is based on the asset's on-chain investor cost basis. The scale of a potential institutional retreat would be massive, involving the reversal of approximately $58 billion in US spot ETF inflows and the sale of 1.3 million BTC held by public companies, including MicroStrategy, which holds roughly 65% of that total.
