Bitcoin price projections suggest potential for massive growth by 2030

Financial analysts and investors have proposed various price scenarios for Bitcoin leading up to 2030, driven largely by potential institutional adoption and regulatory developments.

Bullish projections suggest Bitcoin could reach prices between $250,000 and $1.2 million. Cathie Wood of Ark Invest has predicted values as high as $1.2 million, while Jack Dorsey of Block has also suggested a $1 million target. These high-end scenarios rely on catalysts such as the passage of the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act and increased mandates for investment advisors to allocate portions of client funds to the asset.

A model from River suggests that if 20% to 40% of global investment portfolios allocate between 2% and 4% to Bitcoin, it could trigger net inflows of $1.3 trillion to $5.3 trillion. Such a shift would be significant due to Bitcoin's fixed supply. A base-case scenario, assuming a compound annual growth rate similar to its historical performance of approximately 33%, could see the price reach roughly $300,000 by 2030.
