Bitcoin price steadies near $63,000 as miners sell and exchanges see inflows
Bitcoin traded just above $63,000, approaching the $63,500 level that analysts view as short‑term support. Recent on‑chain data show more than 20,000 BTC – worth about $1.2 billion – moved to exchanges, a level not seen since early July. While the transfers do not always signal immediate selling, they are closely watched as a readiness indicator.
At the same time, miners have sold roughly 1,774 BTC (about $112 million) over the past week, and the investment firm Strategy off‑loaded 1,638 BTC valued at roughly $105 million. Despite these supply pressures, the price has held, though analysts point to August’s historically weak performance for Bitcoin and caution that a break below $62,500 could weaken buying interest.
