Bitcoin: Satoshi-era coins worth $8.3 million move after 16 years
A batch of 100.02 Bitcoin, mined in July 2010 during the ‘Satoshi era’, has moved for the first time in 16 years. The assets, valued at approximately $8.3 million at current prices, were split into two amounts—10 BTC and 90.02 BTC—and transferred to modern bc1q addresses. While the movement marks a significant reactivation of long-dormant coins, there are currently no signs of the assets being sold on the market.
In related market developments, analyst Ali Martinez has identified potential technical shifts for major cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has shown a buy signal via the TD Sequential indicator near the $83,000 support level, suggesting a possible recovery. Conversely, Ethereum faces downward pressure and may lead a market decline if it falls toward $2,500, which could subsequently impact Solana. Solana is currently monitoring the $114 support level to avoid further declines.
