Bitcoin sees major price rally amid liquidity concerns
Bitcoin has experienced significant price movement, achieving its largest weekly dollar gain with a rise of $14,775. This momentum is supported by major inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs in the United States.
Despite the price rally, market data from Darkfost indicates potential liquidity concerns. Stablecoin reserves on Binance, which previously exceeded $50 billion, have decreased by approximately $7 billion since October 2025. While Binance's reserves grew by $1.6 billion in the last month, analysts suggest this does not yet signal a meaningful return of liquidity.
Technical indicators show positive momentum, with moving averages crossing above the 200-day average for the first time since November 2025. However, a decisive move above the $80,000 level may be required for more stable liquidity.
Market participants are currently awaiting key macroeconomic data from the United States, including producer and consumer inflation reports. These figures will be critical ahead of the Federal Reserve's upcoming meeting, where markets are pricing in a 60% probability of a 25 basis point interest rate hike.
