Bitcoin short-term holders maintain profitability for 30 days

On-chain data from CryptoQuant indicates a potential shift in Bitcoin’s long-term trend, as short-term holders (STH) have remained at least partially in profit for approximately 30 consecutive days. This group, defined as investors holding Bitcoin for less than six months, typically reacts more quickly to price fluctuations than long-term holders.

Currently, approximately $168.2 billion worth of Bitcoin held by short-term holders is in profit, compared to roughly $102.6 billion held below their purchase price. Analysts suggest that the duration of this profitable period is a significant indicator, as it may help establish a more stable buyer base if investors do not immediately liquidate their positions.

In a separate practical experiment regarding cryptocurrency diversification, an investor tracked a €100 portfolio split equally among five major assets: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Binance Coin, and XRP. The experiment aimed to test market psychology and the impact of market cycles, including corrections and halving events, on a diversified small-scale investment.
