Bitcoin steadies near $62,000 as large $60,800 buy wall forms on Binance

Large Bitcoin investors placed significant buy orders around $60,800 on Binance, creating a defensive "buy wall" that has helped limit further downside after the price fell to $61,300. Analyst CW noted that the concentration of high‑value orders at this level "has become a short‑term support zone" and could enable a rise toward $64,000 if the $63,500 resistance is broken.

During the same week, Bitcoin rallied to a fresh high of $63,960, driven by a wave of short‑position liquidations exceeding $100 million. The market saw a slowdown in both whale and retail inflows to Binance, with whale deposits dropping from $4.65 billion to about $2.4 billion since mid‑June, while retail inflows fell from $10.02 billion to $8.2 billion. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index rose to 24, indicating the market is moving out of the "extreme fear" zone.

Analysts caution that if Bitcoin fails to maintain the $60,400‑$60,900 range, it could dip again toward lower support levels. Nevertheless, the current buying pressure and reduced short‑selling suggest a moderate recovery may be underway.
